It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Erica Frazier Stum. Our thoughts and prayers are with Erica’s husband, JR, her son, Wylee, her parents, siblings, extended family, friends and of course, the cancer community. Erica was well known and deeply loved in our Cervivor Community. She attended her first Cervivor School in 2015. From there, she became a volunteer and helped to facilitate Cervivor Schools in Indiana, South Carolina, Kentucky, Florida and her last in Cape Cod, MA. She served as our Lead Cervivor Ambassador and mentored many in our community. She provided a shining example of how to advocate, despite dealing with incurable cancer. She shared her story in as many places as possible, including on her blog as well as the Cervivor blog; lobbied in Indiana and Washington, DC; authored a book with her son Wylee (Living Life with Mommy’s Cancer); and advocated for screening, prevention, and more treatment options for metastatic cervical cancer. Erica was recently awarded our first Legacy Award that was created in her honor and will now be renamed in her memory. Erica’s big heart and positive spirit will be sorely missed by all of us.

We will continue to work to #EndCervicalCancer and share her story. #WeAreCervivor
