Heather Lyn Martin was just 28 years old when she lost her life to cervical cancer. Her best friend, Sara Lyle, was there to support her from the day she was diagnosed until the day she died. From this tragic experience, Sara became an advocate for cervical cancer prevention and education.  Using her talents and the good fortune of writing for a national magazine, Sara was able to share Heather’s story with women around the country.
